Built by dispatchers, run by dispatchers.
The Airline Dispatchers Federation is a non-profit professional association founded in 1990 by working dispatchers, governed by a board of working dispatchers, and operated for the benefit of working dispatchers. Our bylaws, our committees, and the day-to-day work of representing the profession are shaped by people who hold a current dispatcher certificate and work the desk.
The board, on the board.
Elected officers, two-year terms, staggered. Every seat held by a certificated dispatcher with at least 3 years of Part 121 operational experience.
Where the work actually happens.
Standing committees run the day-to-day work of the federation — drafting positions, reviewing curricula, responding to incidents, and coordinating with regulators.
The paper trail, public.
Approved minutes for every board and special meeting. Member-only sessions are summarized; full archive available to members.

ADF runs on dispatcher hours. If you can spend a few a month, the federation has a seat for you — drafting a comment letter, reviewing curriculum, vetting an incident. No experience required, just a current certificate and the desire to show up.
