Purpose
The Government Affairs Committee monitors and engages with legislative and regulatory developments that affect the aircraft dispatch profession. The committee tracks proposed FAA rulemaking, Congressional aviation legislation, and policy initiatives to ensure that the dispatcher perspective is represented in the decision-making process.
Through direct engagement with lawmakers, regulators, and industry coalitions, the Government Affairs Committee advocates for policies that support operational safety and the professional standing of aircraft dispatchers. The committee keeps ADF membership informed about regulatory changes and coordinates grassroots advocacy efforts when important issues arise that require the dispatch community's voice.
