Contract Dispatching SNPRM
ADF's opposition to FAA proposals allowing contract dispatching under Part 121 operations.
When the FAA attempted to introduce contract dispatching provisions into its Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on crew training and qualifications, ADF mounted strong opposition. The Federation argued that outsourcing FAR Part 121 dispatch functions to the lowest bidder would compromise safety, operational control, and the critical trust between captains and their dispatchers. ADF urged all certificated dispatchers to make their voices heard during the comment period.
