As Advanced Air Mobility and unmanned aircraft systems move from concept to real-world operations, ADF is working to ensure that aircraft dispatch expertise remains central to this emerging sector. From the 2018 NASA AMES workshop that first connected dispatchers with UAS pioneers, to the appointment of dedicated AAM leadership within the Federation, ADF advocates for the inclusion of operational control principles in the regulatory frameworks governing drones, air taxis, and urban air mobility vehicles.
