ADF is aware of the situation at New York’s LaGuardia airport involving Air Canada Express (Jazz) flight 646 and what appears to be an Airfield Firefighting and Rescue vehicle. Early reports indicate multiple serious injuries on both the aircraft and the vehicle.
We urge restraint and respect while the authorities work to provide aid to those affected by this event. A thorough and proper investigation will be conducted by the agencies of jurisdiction in the coming hours and days. Currently available information does not lead to any conclusions nor should they be speculated on.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by this tragedy.
