A Note from the President:

Dear Members,

As 2009 comes to a close and so many of you have a chance to enjoy family, friends, and loved ones this holiday season, ADF reflects on some of it’s accomplishments this past year not resting on our laurels but realizing there is so much more work that lies ahead in 2010. There is no doubt many airlines are still recovering from obstacles such as high fuel prices, delays, intense competition, and operational mishaps which have been publicized and scrutinized throughout many media outlets.

Given all these distractions, Aircraft Dispatcher here in North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and throughout world continue to show their professionalism and resolve while upholding their focus on Safety, Security, Stability, and Savings for their airlines and the traveling public.

ADF continues it’s work being “A Voice” in Washington DC and abroad for our profession and craft. In 2009 ADF continued it’s involvement and participation in ATMAC, ARAC, ASI ‘s, ATPAC, EUFALDA, JPDO, NextGen, and IFALDA meetings. Production of our new video “Aircraft Dispatcher” is ongoing and our October Safety Symposium was a huge success. I had the opportunity to discuss “Dispatch Issues” at the NBAA Conference held in Orlando and in February 2010 ADF will have one of our Board Members issue a scholarship to a qualified applicant at “Women In Aviation” invigorating our youth about the Dispatch Profession!

ADF’s Members, it’s Board, and tireless efforts continuing to building relationships within our industry is key to our corporation’s success while we work towards “A Single Level of Safety” strengthening our industry throughout North America and the word is our goal! We look forward to the future challenges whatever they may be always working together, collectively, toward one common goal, SAFETY!

Wishing All Of A Very Merry Christmas And Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Joseph Miceli, President ADF
